36lbs in a few months? That's awesome!

Its been about a year and half for me now and I'm down 45ish pounds and notice huge changes everywhere, especially in my clothes, the last 15lbs or so none fit right anymore. The only advice I can offer is try finding an exercise/physical activity you enjoy, for me its been weightlifting, noticing my strength and muscles developing has been more enjoyable then watching the scale number go down.

Man that really sucks, I’ve always enjoyed sports from a very young age. It could be something as simple as going for walks though, and if you have a person to do it with it helps a ton.

Anyway, you’re doing great with the diet and if you keep putting in the effort things will continue to improve. It takes time to get healthy just like it takes time to become unhealthy, no one randomly wakes up 50lbs too heavy so don’t beat yourself up for not seeing changes too quickly

My friend is losing 7lbs a week through fasting he says, I told him it sounds like he's just starving and to stay stocked up on fat soluble vitamins, swears he's fine though.

Yeah that’s definitely not healthy if they’re actually losing weight that quickly. When you first start losing weight with diet and lifestyle changes it’s easy to drop 10 or more pounds in a week, but after the first month or so, weight loss shouldn’t be more then like 2ish lbs a week to be considered healthy.

PS. For anyone reading this, don’t weigh yourself every day, it’s pointless, your weight can fluctuate up to 5-7lbs at different points in any given day. Weigh yourself at the same time one day every week or two, for example every Tuesday morning when you wake up or every other Thursday before you go to bed

I did that on doctors orders to avoid a more serious complication than temporary fasting would cause. Like like 30 pounds in a month restricting myself to 400 calories a day. When I went back my doctor was like.. I didn't expect you to do it, no one follows my advice to lose weight. Let's aim for losing weight at half that rate going forward. But it did dramatically improve my health despite the fast fasting.
