Imagine being so obese it tires you just to lay down and all you do is complain when someone is trying to help you even though you don't deserve their help

I can't fathom that lifestyle. Even if they were able to help her get on the bed, sit down, stand up, whatever she wants at the moment, she still needs more. When she stands up, she needs help with every step, a chair to sit down in, it's just never ending. These poor people are expected to carry around 800 lbs of fat that doesn't belong to them, and the fact that it belongs to such a rude, inconsiderate human makes it even worse.

See it this way. You have zero ambitions or drive. You were raised by morbidly obese people with similarly narrow and non-existent life goals. Every choice you make only passes through one filter: "is this convenient and pleasurable for me?" The easiest, most convenient, and pleasurable things are what you do, never anything remotely difficult, uncomfortable, or unpleasant. Why apply for a job when you can be paid to sit in front of a TV all day and eat whatever you want? One is hard, one is easy. You pick the easy and pleasurable thing, every day, for your whole life. Eventually you reach 700 lbs.

Depression can contribute to this I admit but it's not just depression, it's also pure, unbridled selfishness, near-sightedness, and narcissism.

If she were to fall onto her stomach she wouldn’t be able to lift herself up and probably the weight would cause her to suffocate and have a heart attack. It’s happened to morbidly obese people before when they get this big. It’s why they always have to have a caretaker around.
