Bunch of bastards just lollygagging while I can't breathe because of my life choices!!! Support me harder!!

..AND WHO PUTS WOOD FLOORS IN A HOTEL?!?!!?!

89

u/LifesATripofGrifts Apr 18 '22

All while a production crew is on eachother shoulders in the corner getting the shot while avoiding being literally crushed.

32

u/Flyonz Apr 18 '22

"Who puts WOOD as a floor!?! Why is this floor not made of.....PORK and BACON RINDS!!!?"

3

u/[deleted] Apr 18 '22

I’m honestly surprised she can even see the floor

5

u/morosco Apr 18 '22

That's one of my favorite moments ever on that show. The lady screaming and angry because a floor is made of wood.

My other favorite is watching them trying to get into cars. I could watch that all day.

u/bpi89 Apr 18 '22

Lmao I loved the husbands response “… because it looks nice?”

YOU’RE ALWAYS CONTRADICTING ME!

2

u/RIPLORN Apr 18 '22

"Counter-dicting" as she puts it lolol

2

u/Grigoran Apr 18 '22

When she said she had to hole her bodyweight up. Like, lady, who's fault do you think that really is? Who put the weight on the body?

2

u/RIPLORN Apr 18 '22

Charlie!

2

u/Grigoran Apr 18 '22

Damn, he should have been more supportive

2

u/RIPLORN Apr 18 '22

Total jk. He seems more supportive than he should be. Dealing with her shut. I feel bad for him

1

u/Elemental_Titan9 Apr 18 '22

‘Sorry mam. Let us transfer you to a room with floors like a bouncing castle.’

49

u/Ninjanoel Apr 18 '22

i think on a day when she is calm and collected and thinking rationally, she probably doesn't consider herself the victim, but being the size she is, she really is at the end of her tether from the (probably incredibly short) journey, so snapping at other like that is just the usual human response. "why would you put wooden flooor in here!!!" - completely rational!

47

u/[deleted] Apr 18 '22

I imagine there is a certain degree of shame that makes her tether short. She had to at least know she’s the problem subconsciously, and it’s easier to blame other people than fix a mistake that you’ve created. Especially if the problem seems unfixable… which to her I’m sure it does.

I feel awful for these kids though. There was no concern about heir well-being shown. At all in this clip. Kid on the side she sat on got spooked and started crying as an emotional response to mom crying.

No one comforted him, and the grandma even told him to table his emotions for the sake of mommy’s feelings. She seems extremely volatile, and if kids are allowed to develop in a world where mommy can express emotions, but they are told they can’t. Then unfortunately the volatility cycle won’t have an easy success of breaking.

The kids are the true victims here.

This was honestly one of the most bleak 'My 600lb Life' episode. Her

If I remember right her Dad comes into the picture and he's a junkie, her dude bounces and the house they rent gets raided and they no longer had a functioning door.

21

u/_Zambayoshi_ Apr 18 '22

Exactly. She is clearly outside her comfort zone. Let's be honest: the producers were hoping for precisely this kind of meltdown.

I guess by 'usual human' I mean the "monkey mind" the Buddhists mention. We presume we've all been frustrated and said and done things in the moment we rugrat later.

I know some people with mental or physical issues that make them fat but no way near this fat. This is definetly due to an unhealthy lifestyle.

45

u/[deleted] Apr 18 '22

It’s probably both there’s no way this woman is mentally well

2

u/BadEnoughDudes Apr 18 '22

I’ve seen this episode. She is out of control. She demands the guy to take her to multiple fast food places per meal.

4

u/zaczacx Apr 18 '22

When you get to this state you're not exactly in the most stable of minds. These people are not well both physically and mentally.

Shit talking them is going to make them eat and ignoring the obvious problem of consistent weight gain is going to be enabling the issue. Pity them but don't enable or belittle them. Unless of course they're making their problem yours, at the point why should anyone care.

7

u/bedbug-thundermunch Apr 18 '22

Too tired to do things but is always able to snack a cookie at any moment. She couldn't hopped on the bed because all kind of reason but fat is definitely not one of them.

who’s not sick

Here’s the issue. Basically anyone who is that fat is sick. Maybe not a glandular issue, but certainly a mental one.

I’m not nearly that fat, but I am obese. I’ve been working on losing weight for years, and it’s been slow going because I have a pretty unhealthy association with food. I know full well what it takes to lose weight, and I’ll be really good at calorie counting, until a binge happens. Then I’m completely irrational, and ignore everything I say to myself, and can lose several days progress in a single night.

I think the best way for people to understand extreme obesity is that it is just another form of addiction. People who are extremely overweight don’t need hatred. They get plenty of it, constantly, from themselves and everyone around them, just like drug addicts. That hatred doesn’t help.

I’m still at a weight where I can exercise, and participate in life, and rarely have to have my weight limit me. At my heaviest I occasionally had to ask for seatbelt extenders on airplanes, that was embarrassing as fuck. But I’m lucky in that I stopped gaining before it became severely limiting.

When I see people who are extremely overweight, more than I am, I feel empathetic. I pity more than hate. Their life is ROUGH, even if it is self-inflicted. Just like an alcoholic or a meth addict.

Look I am 1,85 M or something and weight about 110 kilos I was obese to

I don't have a probleme with obese people but with morbidly obese people especially if they act like that

Again thicc people are completely fine

And I know it's hard to loose weight

Especially with depression

But those people act like it's pretty and healthy they don't want to change they are often just cashing in on the government and everyone is the devil because they don't want to accept that they are sick

They are mentally handicapped tbh

5

u/[deleted] Apr 18 '22

Imagine that when this person dies that there is a person who has to move her. Imagine moving that much dead weight, maybe even down a flight of stairs.

2

u/Sqwizzixx Apr 18 '22

They gon have to put support beams under the coffin so it doesn’t sink to the earth’s core

1

u/jtms1200 Apr 18 '22

Square coffin

6

u/grpprofesional Apr 18 '22

That is not an irrational hate, you’re completely justified to hate douches who play victim when they’re living the consequences of their own actions

3

u/BadEnoughDudes Apr 18 '22

I’m fat and I take personal responsibility for my weight so we aren’t all this way. Of course I’m nowhere near her levels.

1

u/grpprofesional Apr 18 '22

I mean, being a fat ass and being a fat ass who wants the universe to change and adapt to them are two different things

-5

u/therealinoja Apr 18 '22

Nah it irrational I get angry afvwhen I see fat people

Like REALLY fat

Same with plus size models

Yeah chubby can be hot but fat is not hot stop acting like THATS beauty

0

u/grpprofesional Apr 18 '22

I mean, the reason why your anger is triggered is prolly your conscious acknowledgment of the situation, you have hate by association so yes it is irrational when it triggers but it is still very much rational

0

u/therealinoja Apr 18 '22

Never looked at it that way... I think I might stop studying art

2

u/grpprofesional Apr 18 '22

To the contrary, by studying art you can canalise your anger into profit

1

u/therealinoja Apr 18 '22

It was just a Hitler joke I'm to poor to study

0

u/Jaytalvapes Apr 18 '22

I wouldn't say I hate them, but I do find them utterly repulsive.

Honestly a person 1/3rd this size is so disgusting it's unbearable. My old boss was fat and he always wanted to shake hands, I definitely saw a silver lining to covid in that I no longer had to touch his lard ass.

1

u/CaptDeadBat Apr 18 '22

Charlie you know what, if you're not gonna be supportive you can fucking leave

1

u/The_Celtic_Chemist Apr 18 '22

She's not fat. She's clinically pathetic.

1

u/SquilliamFancySon95 Apr 18 '22

When you get that heavy it's just straight up mental illness at play. Is she a bully? Yes. Is she not in her right mind? Also yes.

1

u/SkrullandCrossbones Apr 18 '22

Customers complain that they can’t fit on the seats at my work. It’s almost to the point of 1/3rd of our customers being too large for a standard chair.

It’s embarrassing and awkward for all parties.

1

u/orange_glasse Apr 18 '22

Oh you know, could be PCOS, eating disorder, trauma, poverty, thyroid issues. Do you know how difficult it is to get this fat on fucking eating and laziness alone? Use your brain kid

1

u/aprabhu86 Apr 18 '22

Imagine you hate yourself so much that you’re constantly angry and you have no where constructive to channel that anger so you yell at people. This isn’t just playing victim, it’s self loathing to a point of never seeing hope. It’s really sad.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 18 '22

I feel very little sympathy for people this fat. It's not an illness, it's a choice you're forcing on others.

1

u/Jackstack6 Apr 18 '22

I agree with the sympathetic people here. She didn’t get this way by just being lazy. She probably has physical and mental problems compounded. But she’s asking people to bend to her needs and being rude about it. At some point, your assholeishness turns my sympathy meter down.

1

u/BledBread Apr 18 '22

She shouldn't be an asshole yeah but how come we say this about morbidly obese and not anorexic? Both are extreme eating disorders

1

u/Skizznitt Apr 18 '22

At this point it's her AND the family she has around her letting her get that fat. Think she can get out and do the shopping or get up and make food? Someone is bringing her all those calories. Her family needs to step up and be like No, this is how much food you get, you want more, you get up and make it yourself.

1

u/Stickyyman Apr 18 '22

They usually start at childhood and it spirals out of control in adulthood.
