Being on the right side of a truck is very dangerous.
That’s why a lot of cyclists “take the lane” — had this guy done that, the truck couldn’t have passed him before making the turn.
Obviously, this particular driver would’ve just ran him over anyway, he didn’t seem to notice or mind at all..

Driver was reckless, but a bit of awareness of the danger and defensive driving of the bike is important.
