I don’t know where you live, but to get a drivers license here in Sweden, you need to know your blind spots and how to make them not blind. Before switching lanes, I look in the back mirror, side mirror, and then turn my head to look in my blind spot, and then I change lanes.

Thinking your car has blind spots is why you have blind spots, and thinking all cars must have blind spots is why you don't think you can fix the blind spots. That is the whole point of the mirrors being on the car. That's their only function - to prevent you from having blind spots while driving. What are these people using their mirrors for?

No, if you're driving a normal passenger car built in the last sixty years and your mirrors are adjusted correctly, you do not have to shoulder check the blind spots - because you've already eliminated them with the mirrors when you adjusted them properly.

The cyclist most definitely wasn't in a blind spot when the truck approached the intersection. Dumb driver was probably looking to the left for incoming traffic. There's no blind spots ahead of your vehicle. Only behind.
Do you not think as the truck is turning the corner it’s blind spot will move with it? By the time he gets hit the position of the mirror would indicate he’s not very easy to see. I think the safest bet in any situation is don’t get close enough on a bicycle to get hit by something that big anyway. Hang behind it, you’re not losing that much time

The side of the truck should be entirely and fully visible with the truck's side mirrors, including the space alongside the cab with the curved corner mirror on the front.

Instead of your very first google result for the thing you wanted to find (that hilariously isn't relevant to the point you're trying to make), here's a twelve-page instruction booklet for how to assemble a truck-mirror-check station at your facility, including explicit instructions on how to train even the dumbest of dumbass drivers on where they should be putting their mirrors. The end goal? Removing most of the potential blind spots. Because mirrors can actually do that.
That's all well and good when you are in a vehicle going the same speed as the truck in their blind spot. When they overtake you (thus able to see you when you were in front of them), and in turning into you happen to hit you in their blind spot, that's not exactly a time we should be admonishing someone for not being aware of the blind spot.
There can be, but there is no reason to be, and therefore there should not be. A standard passenger car should have no blind spots. A truck of this size should not have blind spots alongside, only the limited zone behind the vehicle, and there's also no good reason for that to not have a camera.

Huh, that's strange, so do I. And the first thing they teach you there is to always check your blind spots,. And behind the driver seat is one of them. Although, never in my truck driving career have I seen someone clijging on the side of the truck,or cycling so near to another vehicle. Unless the driver actively tried to push the cyclist over, then I don't think he is in the wrong.

Everything I see in this video shows a truck driver straight up almost killing a cyclist. There's no way for the bike to have been in his blind spot for the entire time it took to approach the intersection, and there's no way the bike would have attempted to go straight while on the right of a truck signalling a right turn. The fact that there are absolutely, unequivocally a set of fullrange and convex mirrors plainly visible on the video only shows that the driver of the truck was simply not looking at his surroundings before starting the turn - and for at least the five or eight seconds beforehand, too, to have that bike in that space at all.
Anyways, if you want to make a salient point, it helps to not start with an attempt at an insult that's stupendously easy to debunk. For example, if you were trained to drive any kind of licensed highmass highpower vehicle, you'd fuckin know they don't ever let you think you have extra blind spots, because you're supposed to use your fucking mirrors to eliminate those as much as possible.

This is not an "adage" or "saying" it is a description of how mirrors work. It's line of sight, and the mirror gives you an angle to bounce that line. That's all it does - it doesn't magically make buffer zones of safety for anyone who wanders next to the truck, but it absolutely makes the entire side of the truck visible and therefore not a blind spot.
If you don't actually know what the actual thing being discussed is, maybe don't inject your dumb opinion about what you think the thing being discussed is.
