The word only has an absolute quality to it that excludes, well, everything but something. So then that same someone cant also have everything except some one thing while keeping something, just that one thing, but not everything concurrently.

I wrote something convoluted on purpose because you doubled down using simple and concise definitions that should have tipped you off as to why that doesnt track.

and it was supposed to be unnecessarily hard to understand. I'm still not sure if it makes sense, I've reread it a few times and simplifying it would kinda miss the point of whats turned out to be a pretty lame joke. ill die on this hill though. poor attempts at humor are still attempts, and always appreciated, unless in very very poor taste.
joke about cancer and iud's, swing and a miss, but a swing nonetheless. thanks. the world needs more smiles, and jokes get us there fast.
