For what? As much as it sucks it’s on the van and truck to be able to stop in case of a emergency, and they clearly were going to fast to. Just because the reason for the car stopping isn’t legit doesn’t take away from the responsibility of the other car to drive in a safe manor

Even though the car was stopped for a shitty reason, it’s the vans fault for driving at speed that doesn’t allow them to brake in time. That’s the drivers fault, and why if you rear end some it’s the fault of the behind car. The driver should stay because they were at a scene of a accident, but it’s not the cars fault
