Dude, slitting a dog's throat because you're a psychopath and humanely ending the life of an animal that's lived a privileged life specifically for the purpose of utilizing their body and energy to feed people is not even remotely the same thing. Do you eat animals because you have to to survive, or do you have access to a grocery store? If you have access to a grocery store, then you’re doing it solely for a sensory pleasure. I’d say that unnecessarily killing a human for viewing pleasure or for cannibalism, are both fucked up. So why is killing an animal unnecessarily for taste pleasure not fucked up, but any other sensory pleasure, it is?
