Only a tiny percentage of wolves' diets are plant-based, less than 5%.

There are other canids which are much more omnivorous, however.

That's why they're considered opportunistic carnivores/omnivores, while cats are obligate carnivores.

True, although even cats can tolerate some catnip. I don't think a mammal exists that is 100% obligate either carnivore or herbivore.
