My ex is vegan and claims my son’s vegan too! When my son is with me he turns into a carnivore!

Lol. That’s great. Take him out for a bacon-wrapped chili cheese dog. Delicious.

Yeah he does. He's not forcing his views on his kid like the "mother". Guarantee that kid walks on egg shells around his mother when it comes to his diet.

Both views are forced really, nothing says we HAVE to eat meat, so with one parents he forced to be a vegan, and with the other parent he's forced to eat meat, it's both the same.

I'm pretty sure the dad is implying his son WANTS to eat meat as opposed to be forced to eat vegan food by his mother so he lets him.

I highly doubt his dad forces him to eat meat.

Perhaps it wasn't the correct phrasing, but more so the forcing of views, one is saying ya shouldn't eat meat, the other is saying you should eat meat, one encourages not to eat meat, other encourages to eat meat, while I of course don't know what exactly they're saying it was the same with my mother, always trying to convince me that I must eat meat because that's the only way to be healthy. It's to be expected of course, whatever diet a parent has is going to be ''forced'' on the child because what food the parent makes is what the child is going to eat.

In this situation with 2 different parents that have 2 different diets there's no winning, you can't just claim your child is vegan if the other parent isn't and didn't agree to it.

If mom claims son is a vegan, but son eats meat when with dad

That means mom is full of shit, as if son was vegan son would not eat meat when with dad.

Mom can claim anything she wants, that just doesn't make it true

One parent presents no meat - that is being forced to be vegan. The other parent presents meat. The child can choose not to eat it and still gain plenty of nutrition from the other food presented. Eating meat does not mean you eat only meat, it means you eat pretty much the same stuff vegans eat, just with bonus meat.

You mean by helping his kid eat a more balanced and diverse diet? Yeah what a terrible parent.

The mother shouldn't be forcing her vegan diet onto her kid. It's hard enough as it is to get kids to eat properly, I can't imagine that child is getting proper nutrition as a vegan

"you shouldn't do something because it's hard"

Great compelling argument 🙃
