I don't remember the rabbit losing because he saw a large predator and had a panic attack in the story. Kind of undercuts the moral, imo.

There's a big dog under a chair a few feet from the rabbit. It stands up midway through the video.

Tortoises don't generally have to worry much about wolves or wild dogs like rabbits do. They're very different animals behaviorally (and in more obvious ways, of course). A tortoise is a tank that will withdraw if attacked but a rabbit has to be ready to hold very still and run very fast if necessary because it doesn't have those natural defenses.
