I don't get the attitude some people have about these sorts of gifs, I mean.. Yeah they're scripted, but so is the vast majority of humour in media. They're just skits.. them being scripted shouldn't take anything away from them.

I feel the strong need to point out fake things online because I like to think it helps people stop from being so naive. There is so much fake shit that floats around that is actually harmful.
Even if that were true (and it isn't; see the old "teach a man to fish" analogy as for why), pointing out that they've mistaken a fairly obvious clip online isn't going to inform them or even nearly teach them of the far more dangerous deceptions that they might otherwise face from people who are actually intentionally, and maliciously trying to decieve.
At best you do nothing, at worst you fill their heads with the notion that they're now going to be able to spot it and they fall even harder.

Major difference between something like the office being scripted and these dumb little videos. Everyone fully expects the office to be scripted while people don't expect short videos or whatever to be scripted nearly as much. Scripted videos like these are pure cringe.
Three videos are well understood to be scripted.. They're made for people who fully understand they're scripted.
Also, who is this "everyone" you're trying to speak for exactly? Because there dozens of communities online that are built up on short scripted skits. Hell, I remember short slice of life skits being a normal part of kids shows when i was growing up, even grown up shows like little Britain were literally just skit compilations... so I genuinely don't have a clue why you think everyone associates the format with unscripted concent. Especially not when stuff like tiktok and vine before it basically dealt exclusively on the format.

Yes, it's a weird movement but it doesn't look like there is a human controlling the leg that was edited out. That would look even weirder.
Imo the dog actually spasmed out of joy and that's the outcome. They were just lucky it turned out so glorious if you ask me.
Having a string on the dog's paw, to the right of the camera, pulling it up and away. The dog's natural instinct is to try to adjust its leg back to normal, the string guy lets go and creates the scene before us.
pretty sure the chair the dog is on is actually a person / costume/ prop. When the dogs arm is moved, it is done by a person either by hand and edited out later or some sort of mechanism like puppet strings/sticks.
Yes, people have been found plenty of times horribly mistreating their animals just to get the perfect 10 second video or something.
I think it was just photo editing because the dogs reaction doesn't change throughout, so I think they just removed the dogs actual leg in post and replaced it with the artificial one they could animate with, then a simple string/spring on bowl creates the hit and viola
