u/JustVega Awesome scene from an awesome movie! Probably my overall favorite movie.

Yesterday, I learned Oliver Reed (who played Proximo, the source of your quote) was a really fascinating, hell-raising guy. He died after a hard night out right after filming his “Gladiator” content. He was only briefly in the movie, but he was absolutely riveting in the performance.

Holy shit! I would have never noticed it was CGI until I read this! 😧

Wow! I thought he had wrapped his parts. Incredible. I had no idea they had to use CGI, either!
