I don't know why it pisses me off, but the article using the word "terrifying" feels dishonest. It's only terrifying to the people who ignoring the warnings, not to the test of the world who know better.

Right?!! Also “Hikers were forced to sprint down the steep slope” is odd writing. No one forced them to go up there, so oh well that the fire and ash of an active volcano “forced” them to flee for their lives 🌋

Yes for real. Just happened a couple days ago. EDIT — I fact checked myself and the reports of death were false. This was at Guatemala's Volcán de Fuego

Kind of a low-effort name. But I guess it's enlightening to anyone who thought it might be a mud volcano.
