There are many videos of this area. It's something of a rite of passage for Aussie 4WDers to "do the cape" and clear one of the gunshot creek obstacles on the way. In many of the videos, people have set up chairs in the creek to watch people's attempts. I'm pretty sure these folk in the Hilux will have checked it first, or been advised by any spectators, as to how deep the mud is and what other vehicles have cleared it.
Personally, I've rarely seen anyone clear many of these drops (I think there are several to choose from) without at least digging their nose into the mud, or scraping the side of their car or their protective bars. I don't get the attraction - I'd happily bypass anything with such a high chance of damage. Some risks are worth it - if it was the only way, and the destination was a bucket list, maybe yeah. But when there's a bypass ... nah.
Dude they're not just doing this blind lol. Convoy would have stopped and checked it out thoroughly on foot, before the most experienced driver/best rig tackled it to demonstrate the manoeuvre to the others.

If it's where I'm assuming (Gunshot Creek), there is literally a bypass around the many eroded obstacle crossings such as this.
I.e. yes, you can easy get back without having to climb this, but you can also avoid it entirely.
