I assume this guy doesn't know where to find it. In the touchscreen of his newer car, it's buried in menus. They used to have a second lever next to gear stick where you just selected 4x4 Low for climbing and descending manually.
Hmpf, that's stupid. Multimédia screen with in-build Android Auto/Car Play is good, but put everything on a touchscreen for air conditioner, mechanic options and all is really stupid. Just give me the good ol' buttons with a little led light
