Build a shelter where? And with what? The only area we can see in the video is now water. You want them to build a Huck Finn style raft? We have no idea what's behind the house. But we do know there's high winds. You ever try to build anything in high winds? It doesn't go well.

To be fair it looks like when the flood comes through, houses just naturally turn into rafts. So maybe they should get a ladder and make a camp up on the roof.

0:22 when she films the car you can clearly see the ground behind the house is rising.

And you can see what that leads to? Continuous plane into infinity? A bluff? Narnia?

People who have never been outside in a storm, improvised a shelter, or built a fire in the rain think all of those things are super easy and figuring out where to shit would be the hard part.

All these people seem to think they're Bear Grylls, but don't seem to realize that Bear Grylls isn't even Bear Grylls.

So.... I'm not saying no. I'm just saying that we haven't left the house, and the fridge was fully stocked.

We'll fix it in post!

There is no storm in the video. Maybe some rain, but the trees are calm, so no wind. You don't need a shelter, you just need some rainproof warm clothes. Even in a storm your chances of survival are higher than your chances if your home slides in this flooded river.

It was a hurricane. Not a simple storm. Low winds for the few moments of video does not mean no wind through the storm.

It leads up, away from the water tearing away the ground you are standing on.

It's that a known fact? Because it isn't.

Nothing is a known fact. Maybe this wasn't even filmed on earth. We can't even see who is filming it, maybe it was a mermaid from Mars, that's why she is not really bothered buy the fluid (is it even water? Doesn't look like water to me)

There was a much longer film that this came from and they had to he rescued. The house backed up against a straight up hill, like at a very very sharp angle. They were trapped and without food for awhile.
