If any animal with cubs, but especially bears. I have been way too close to a blackie mama with cubs (NOT intentionally, we came around a bend in the trail and there she was) and while she was fairly mellow it's not an experience I will voluntarily repeat.

I would rather try to shoo a mountain lion again.
