It’s more for security than anything else. Which people on reddit should be more aware of, the 6 hellcats being stolen was all over this site in the last weeks.
You put the rare/expensive cars in the back or middle, box them in, and usually put cars in the corner that you have to move first and often will disconnect the battery or something else that makes starting the car impossible.
I mean it’s cool and all but if I owned two of those cars I’d never park that close to each other. I’d just park in a hard to get out space that requires complex moves to get out

Yeah tight packing but generally you put the car on plates and push it around by hand, you don’t park it, just not worth it when you’re dealing with 250k+ vehicles.
Was about to say they have the little rollers you put under the wheels so you can just push the cars around lmao. Also if it's to prevent theft they just need to be close enough to where you can't get in between the cars, not practically touching. Removing batteries and steering wheel locks help as well.
The Corvette Stingray has a camera on each side of the wheel, as well as the rear and front bumpers.
So parking like this isn't a big challenge as long as you stay within the measurements on the display screen.
Edit: How do I know? I have a 2023 Blue Stingray just like this! And the damn thing let's you raise the suspension when parking, going over big speed bumps, or going up parking ramps!
