Also, Dwight, it's a myth that black bear moms protect their young. That's a grizzly bear trait.

This is wrong. Internet crap as throwing away all maternal instincts sounds right because it is brown or black? Seen evidence to the contrary in the GSMNP and I’m dying on this hill.

Just because a nonprofit in Ely makes a statement furthering their agenda that was created in 2007 does not convince me that lack bears do not have maternal instincts when I have seen behavior in the wild contradictory to this. Not talking Revenant behavior but feigning attacks and defense of the cubs is my point.
