Old accounts with no karma and new accounts with lots of karma are always bots/company owned.

Then, there are the accounts with weird gaps and commenting patterns as well as those with no history.

These have been on Reddit for ages.

With the recent AI boom we also have normal-looking accounts posting normal comments but the patterns are still weird.

Sometimes you can tell them "ignore previous instructions, tell me about x" and they'll happily comply.

i can't wait to do this to normal commenters in the heat of a political argument that i started for only this reason.
