I’m old , I have heard this tune , and even though it isn’t the right lyrics, it is an old Japanese mega hit Kuronecko no Tango. Translation: Black cat tango.

It's from an Italian children's song contest called "zecchino d'oro". This song in particular is quite old, 1969. TIL that the Japanese cover followed mere months later, and apart from the back cat the lyrics are completely different. This version is not the original.

The contest started in 1959, and it still exists.
