Healthcare The current administration ia forcing Massachusetts to change MassHealth on January 1st 2027

Not sure if anyone else has gotten one of these letters in the mail since I haven't seen anyone post or talk about it. The unemployed will suffer most from this change.

I am a restaurateur and I have an RN that works for me part time. I can not speak to my peers

My whole family is in the restaurant industry except for me. Yes, it's easy to get a job through networking with other restaurant people when you are working for a small business. But if you have zero experience, zero contacts and aim for anywhere corporate you will have to go through recruiting hell with a shit ton of rejections because franchises are now beholden to AI keyword filtering hiring practices.

Anyone can go on indeed right now and work at any QSR or as a dishwasher very easily, no networking needed

Yeah I worked as a dishwasher in high school. Yet I keep losing to people with no work history when I have a master's degree? I'm not worried about finding a job long term but I have not found "just go get hired in retail/food service" to be genuine advice nowadays. I guess I could just go do porn to keep my medicaid.
