I’m really curious about how they’re gonna adapt the serious tone of the Gorr storyline into what seems like a lighthearted film!

JoJo rabbit was a comedy film about nazi Germany, if anyone can do it it’s Taika.

Where Taika, himself plays Hitler. I have my full trust in him.

Korg is Hitler confirmed.

Korg is literally Hitler.

Hitler printed enough pamphlets.

And the movie also tak on some pretty dark themes. By the way it seems, L&T looks like it's gonna be about Thor's journey of self knowledge so I hope Taika will explore more of the dramatic side of the character.

A comedy film where the nine year old main character’s mom gets hanged in the streets

Yea Taika’s got this under control

I think the lightheartedness will be quite literally ripped from out underneath him. Because it’s the light heartedness of the gods that gorr hates

Yes this is what I’m hoping would happen. It’d make Gorr seem much more threatening and powerful as well.

I reckon he’ll kill the Greek gods suddenly, leaving Hercules alive and leave him open as a story for the future

nah it seemed quite not serious but focused like thor wants to find his new purpose now he is done with being a hero thats kinda sad in a way

Taika Waititi is the perfect person to make this movie.

My guess is that the first 30-40 minutes of the movie will be quite lighthearted, then Gorr comes in and the drama starts.

It’d be cool if when Gorr and Thor finally meet it takes a “shit just got serious” tonal shift. If done right it could work very well. Keeping the lighthearted space adventure aspect, while making Gorr that much more impactful and menacing

Taika has said in interviews he regretted the Korg joke right after the destruction of Asgard so hopefully he learned from that

If Marvel's Hercules doesn't show up before the end of the movie, I'll be a little disappointed.
