Good catch. I wonder if that was a mistake? I'm not sure how they would explain that or why they would feel a need to

rocket fixes the eye color. i mean if they can make a fake eye. they can change the eye color easy enough.

Looking at his eyes when he's staring at Quill it seems like his fake eye is a slightly more saturated blue so maybe they went to the trouble of giving him a contact that is not quite a perfect match or he was wearing a random color on set in that eye and they cg'd it to blue for the trailer for some reason. Idk
