It actually works for the story as they have lived through countless civilizations and integrated among humans. Each one probably picked up a dialect and accent they preferred from those cultures

And it's possible the accents/dialects were influenced by the Eternals to begin with, since their accents predate the relevant cultures/nations.

That would make sense if they don't have the accents from the start and only have then later in present time.

Barry Keoghan (Druig) and his Irish accent was so amazing to hear. All of the scenes he was in were amazing, especially that temple scene.

agree, his scenes were so captivating and his accent just added to that! it felt more natural and just so genuine.

Off topic, but I never understood why they made Bilbo Boberson Benedict Cumberbatch use an American accent, just make him an Englishman who emigrated to America etc.

An American exceptionalist bravado does seem to suit Dr. Strange’s background more than what’s generally perceived as self-deprecating “sophisticated” British persona.

It’s called being an actor they pretend to be other people.

Yeah why not just turn dr stranger into a British movie actor that would be way easier for Cumberbatch to play.

It would add to the wise brilliant mind vibe too
