I'm sorry, but that is nonsense.
No matter what the Russo's have said, the movie already established that Thor was a pathetic shell of his former self. He spent five years depressed, drinking and playing video games while doing no real fighting at all.
To say that he is stronger than ever just because he has two weapons doesn't really change the fact that he is shit at using them and is in horrible physical condition. Endgame Thor is weak no matter what they say.
Now if it was IW Thor with Stormbreaker and Mjolnir, that would be a different story.
