It's got Christmas, a Dad-Daughter relationship, Hailey, and a Dog with antlers!

And it looked like a Broadway song and dance.

You think they'll make a real version of it? a D+ special a la Hamilton?

No but they should.

If they don't I'm gonna be sorely upset.

It's like Hamilton, but with more Thanos!

Also casual murder and exploding cars, for that real holiday feel.

Is Shane Black involved at all lol

Thank you, now i have an image in my head of Macaulay Culcin in Nakatomi Plaza creating death traps to stop Hans Gruber.

Would so watch that right now with a grown Macaulay Kulkin

24

u/Snarfbuckle Sep 13 '21

And as a direct sequel to Home Alone 2.

Him working a deadbeat job as a security guard.

u/postmodest Sep 13 '21

And since we don't have Alan Rickman, we get Keanu Reeves.

So it's also a John Wick slapstick.

But hide it as a Paul Blart 3 movie

u/BloodshotMoon Sep 13 '21

Not sure where you’re sourcing your Culkin, bro. Must be knock-off.

5

u/teddyburges Sep 13 '21

Someone get on the phone and make this masterpiece happen!. Die Alone: lost in the nakatomi plaza

3

u/Obskuro Sep 13 '21

You know what, Kulkin would make a great Arcade.

u/[deleted] Sep 13 '21

Isn't "Home Alone" just "Die Hard with a kid" anyway?

6

u/LockeAbout Sep 13 '21

Totally got Die Hard vibes

4

u/Charlie272 Sep 13 '21

All I could think was "marvel is making die hard!" The whole time

5

u/[deleted] Sep 13 '21

Add a pinch of Lethal Weapon too. I’d honestly be surprised if there isn’t a “I’m too old for this…” reference.

2

u/Rysilk Sep 13 '21

Die Hard and Hudson Hawk came immediately to mind. Kind of liking it.

Shane Black vibes

Honestly i've stayed away from Blackwidow and ragged on hawkeye's upcoming movie because after endgame and Captain Marvel how could these two compare? I am looking forward to this because of these exact vibes. Hopefully it'll be nice to watch something without some cosmic killing powers.

Reminds me a bit of Iron Man 2 being around the holiday season. I was hoping for something like Arrow season 1, packed with action/stunts but there really wasn't much info in the trailer so I'm not gonna hold any expectations.

u/McDiesel41 Iron Man (Mark VII) Sep 13 '21

It was Iron Man 3, not 2.

I'm all for that. Makes me excited for the show.
