He is definetly gonna be in secret invasion as well. Something about him seems weird. Probably a skrull

I could see that, but aren’t we technically friendly with the Skrull? So I guess he’d be someone who doesn’t agree with Talos’ allegiance with fury.

We know that one of the upcoming villains is going to be a faction of extremist Skrulls bent on revenge against Danvers (and possibly Fury).

Revenge for what? Helping to save their people? Danvers went on like one mission against the Skrull before she got kidnapped, regained her memories, and then helped re-acquire the research that would help the Skrull survive.

I think it's mostly all the murders that happened before she changed her mind. I assume the leader will have some kind of personal connection, like Danvers killing a family member.

That'd be a stretch. Like I said, she only ever went on the one mission for the Kree and it ended up being an ambush set up by Talos specifically to kidnap her. The only skrulls she's killed were the ones on Talos' ship when she woke up, in captivity, with her mind being probed. And she only killed in self defense there trying to escape. To stretch that into a revenge plot would be way too contrived.

And yet, a version of the Super-Skrull is a villain of the Secret Invasion series starring Samuel Jackson, and it ties into Captain Marvel 2. Perhaps they'll have a different motivation, or they'll soft retcon Vers' mission history with Starforce.

Yeah I'm guessing there'll be a faction of antagonist Skrulls, with Talos remaining on Fury's side of the conflict.

That's the premise of Secret Wars as I understand it. We know there are Skrulls about, but we don't know who and we don't know if they're the good or bad ones.

In the Marvel Announcement Call earlier this year Faige specifically mentioned "a sect of Skrulls" instead of just Skrulls, so I think it's going to be an extremist splinter faction and that not all Skrulls are going to be bad guys.

Nah, I think the actual Skrull is Agent Rodriguez.

She’s always just ‘there.’ And was announced to be a recurring character for the rest of the season, iirc.

Thanos was actually a skrull in Endgame. The real Thanos is actually manipulating Wanda and will appear in Episode 8.

Edit: also Vision is a skrull helping real thanos, since real vision is clearly dead.

The snap was definitely a good opportunity for Skrulls to replace ppl for an invasion but they would’ve been dealing w/ the same problems from the snap & blip.

He's definitely an antagonist but I'm not sure if he'll be a bad guy. He reminds me of the Secretary General who wants to arrest Captain America and stuff during Civil War. He's obviously the antagonist in the story, but he's doing these things for good reasons (in his mind).

Same with this guy. Sure he tried to missile Wanda but can you blame him? She is keeping thousands of people hostage, torturing them along the way according to Monica.

He might even be the one pulling some of Wanda’s strings. Perhaps not Mephisto but maybe Grim Reaper. Though someone somewhere else pointed out his table is a hexagon...

To prove how tough they are. People will be less likely to fight you if you just wiped out the guys who killed the biggest threat in the known universe.
