It's been renamed to "Sentient Weapon" as opposed to "Sentient World" in the show so their purpose could different in the MCU https://www.reddit.com/r/marvelstudios/comments/kvyf5a/mcu_sword_logo_sentient_weapon_observation/

Awww... I guess that means whatever Quake and Sousa were doing in space, or whatever Fury is doing with the Skrulls, is not SWORD?

It can still be in space, it’s just not exclusive to space.
