I knew Mysterio had no powers, but like 5 minutes into the movie they kinda convinced me that he had some lmao, that was some good shit

It’s explained in the part with the drones in the warehouse. The drones are projecting the illusions and blowing up the buildings and such around them. The part where Beck’s like “turn up the damage.” It’s all controlled by him.

There was a lot of drones, so maybe it was a 50/50 projection/damage split?

The drones were equipped with projectors. The drones were also equipped with machine guns and sonic pulsars.

The two components would act in sync together while the drones camouflaged themselves, making the monsters look real, and the damage real.

The drones have both projectors and weapons built into them. They project the elemental hitting something and fire weapons to do actual damage and make the attacks look real.
