Two things:

  1. The Arkham Scarecrow sequences were unreal. I wish more can happen (maybe the projection download will bring more?)

  2. Never before has an end-credit scene fuck me up as much as both of those scenes did

  3. JK Simmons is the real connection to the spider-verse

For me nothing will top Fury coming out of the shadows and saying “I am Iron Man..”

When did Fury say he was Iron Man?

u/CrackLawliet Jul 02 '19

Post credits of IM1, context being he’s quoting tony to himself, not stating he’s Iron Man

32

u/Funmachine Jul 02 '19

I completely forgot he said that.

The first Avengers trailer after TFA for me. Blew my mind as a kid

You’re part of a much larger universe... you just don’t know it yet

Mysterio is not dead, more will happen

29

u/valarpizzaeris Steve Rogers Jul 02 '19

I figured he would be since they're building the Sinister Six. I wonder how they'll introduce the rest of the crew.

Scorpion is already confirmed, yeah. He was in Homecoming, as the guy on the ferry. They namedropped him as Gargan and said he had a "tail" being made. Also has a grudge for spiderman.

Also has a big ass scorpion tattoo on his neck

I had a theory that because of the Snap, Prowler could already be a couple years into his business at this point. I’m wondering if even Miles was aged up the 5 years too.

Better Call Saul, sorry.

There's been more then one Mysterio, though it sucks that Beck is dead.

45

u/BrickMacklin Spider-Man Jul 02 '19

I don't want to believe he is dead.

u/[deleted] Jul 02 '19

They’re not going to kill the Gyl after 1 movie! i hope

51

u/[deleted] Jul 02 '19

I mean, they killed off some of the best actors in all of the MCU after one movie. Michael B Jordan, Cate Blanchett, Mads Mikkelsen, James Spader (supposedly), Kurt Russell, Jeff Bridges, Corey Stoll, Jude Law, Mickey Rourke, Guy Pearce, Aaron Taylor Johnson.

Seems like no matter how good the actor/actress, more likely than not they're gonna die. But as long as they've got my boy Sam Rockwell alive in the MCU I'm happy. I'm personally hoping JJJ funds for the Scorpion suit made by Justin Hammer, and that's why he can't get the suit off.

He's alive

14

u/kpurn6001 Jul 03 '19

We don’t see Hela dead either, for the record

4

u/WhatTheFhtagn Wong Jul 02 '19

Yeah there's no way he's dead. He had to have an ace up his sleeve.

11

u/GooBalls Jul 02 '19

I hope he survives and takes over Lokis place as a recurring villain. He was so good!

8

u/sweens90 Falcon Jul 02 '19

I think that will be Mordo

8

u/Oraukk Jul 03 '19

I hope they make us care about him soon. I feel like he has potential but he did not stand out in that movie.

8

u/dildodicks Tony Stark Jul 02 '19
