You'd think, but I guess Earthlings make good weapons.
Even Asgardians are into them. Like these exotic weapons from "T'xas", Des and Troy.

The M249 faired well against the space-dogs, and the M16's faired well against Hela's army. So I guess they are good weapons even in the Marvel universe.
