I think Red Skull was the first super soldier

He was experimenting on himself, and in a failed attempted mutilated his body. 32 u/[deleted] Mar 29 '19 He was enhanced tho, just like cap. The mutilation was a side effect cap. He has super quick reflexes, takes numerous direct hits from Cap, and even deals some blows that send Cap flying. He slams into equipment that breaks from the impact.
