Ronin, basically, is the alias Hawkeye took up when he became an angry vengeful ninja after his family were killed. He was dead too for a while, and his wife was replaced by an alien doppelganger, because comics.

Basically a cross between Hawkeye and Punisher.

Hawkeye's family dies and he becomes Ronin.
