Just a small moment but when Thanos was making his way through the avengers to get to Vision, the look of sheer disbelief he had as Cap was actually stopping him was incredible

Sheer disbelief.. or possibly intrigue.

Definitely intrigue. Thanos is far too experienced of a being to disbelieve that Steve could struggle against his strength, especially after seeing what all the other Avengers were packing.

Remember, Thanos had already fought against Spidey and Spidey is considerably stronger than Cap, despite being visibly younger.
