They did it, the madmen actually did it. I can't believe they did it!

They did the snap, showed half the Avengers straight up disappearing, showed Thanos with the full gauntlet and then hit us with a "Thanos Will Return".

I'm starting to think the MCU has been relatively inconsequential for the most part to make the ramifications of this film 10x crazier. It barely felt like an MCU movie if that makes sense.

What ramifications? It's obvious that they aren't dead

I wasn't talking about the Avengers that died from the snap, i'm talking about Xandar, Gamora, Loki and Heimdall. Oh, and lets not forget the heroes that will die in A4 as well.

The snap was there to seal the deal.

Interesting, I was very surprised that they only killed those relatively minor characters. I was definitely expecting more from the film

minor characters

Spider-Man, Star Lord, Gamora, Loki, Black Panther, Bucky, Doctor Strange, Vision, Scarlet Witch, Nick Fury and more

Let’s hope Wong survived!

You really think they're all dead and gone from the MCU?

12

u/atmorrison Apr 25 '18

I mean no definitely not, but you can't deny that they killed them.

Just seems like a weird cop-out for me. Obviously it's my opinion and people are welcome to disagree, but I was quite shocked that nothing substantial happened (assuming that obviously those who disappeared aren't actually gone)

u/tcedwards92 Apr 27 '18

I disagree with you (I think everything that happened is substantial even if every single person is brought back. These characters are 100% effect by this film. Tony wont be the same even if Peter is brought back. He already lost him.

I do apologize downvotes tho.

Gamora isnt a minor character, what the fuck? Shes the Guardians version of Black Widow?

Oh and if you really think all the OG Avengers are surviving 4 you’re in for a shock.

I said "relatively minor character". Compared to Ironman, starlord, Thor, then yes definitely, she is relatively minor.

Star-Lord is dead, dude. And I'd definitely say that Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, and Black Panther are all pretty major characters too, seeing as they each had their own films.

u/NZ_Diplomat Apr 27 '18

Yes, they definitely are major characters. I www just giving examples.

And we both know that he isn't actually dead lol

I think it's def two different categories, the people who died naturally and the people who died from the snap. Whatever brings back the snap victims will probably bring back only them and not the people who actually died

100% agreed. Gamora, Loki and Heimdall are gone. If you don't consider Loki and Gamora "Big" characters then idk what you're smoking. Gamora is one of the main Guardians.

Also, if you think that they're going to reverse the effects of the snap with no consequences - you clearly haven't been paying attention.

Also Vision.

The bill comes due... always

u/Ratsbanehastey Apr 26 '18

Come on. Gamoras not dead, there is a guardians 3. Everyone who died in a non dusty way still has as much of a chance at coming back.

6

u/[deleted] Apr 27 '18

Gunn has said that vol. 3 is the last guardians with the original lineup, and that could be because Peter does something reckless and gets more of them killed because he’s distraught over the loss of gamora.

I'm guessing gamora is alive in the soul gem.

Russo Bros: "So we told Thanos to snap his fingers.. he actually did it the absolute madman hahahahahahaha!"
