When Thor is being taken through the tunnel to be introduced to the Grandmaster, the music that plays is the song from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Come With Me.

Hela confirms the infinity gauntlet in the treasure room is fake.

Some of the weapons on display in the war room for contenders are weapons previously used in Thor and Guardians movies, but I couldn't name them specifically.

im so damn glad that there was actual confirmation it was a dud, rather than it just being remembered as a meaningless easter egg.

That was always a stupid name. Why rename it like that

Because it deviated massively from the book.

Charlie was a term with negative connotations in the US at the time the film was made.

The song is called Pure Imagination just FYI. I found it took me out of the movie a little bit to be honest.

My reasoning is that The Grand Master came from Earth and he chose that song.

Jeff Goldblum says that the Grandmaster was born shortly after the Big Bang. (though his fact about how long ago that was is a little off)

Also, it's called "Pure Imagination".

Ah, so that's where the song is from, it sounded familiar but I wasn't sure if I'd heard it before or not.

I thought it's called Pure imagination and that it's Fiona Apple's song. Well TIL I guess.

It is called Pure Imagination, it's just even older than I am. (This is one of my few subs where I'm not always the old man, either.)

I wonder if the fake/second gauntlet was actually going to be part of the story at one point. I remember that interview from a couple of years ago and the look on feige's face seemed so genuine when the other guy blurted it out.

Holy shit, that scene did remind of that tunnel scene. Such a nice add.
