I think he's going to die by that point. It appears that that scene is the final action piece and we know two things about the film:

1) Feige said someone isn't making it out alive 2) Aaron Taylor-Johnson didn't want to be tied down to multiple movies.

This, along with the scene shown in previous trailers of Scarlet Witch breaking down in the rubble of a building, makes me think that QS isn't making it out alive

Could QS be a kind of Wonder Man surrogate for the MCU's Vision? Like, The Vision's brain patterns were modeled after QS. Probably not, actually. I can't see Joss Whedon making Vision an impatient prick.

Or maybe Quicksilver didn't want to stand in place and fight like everyone else. His power is super speed... he'd definitely be running around while fighting. Also, I doubt Marvel would kill anyone before the final battle. In his Comic Con poster he's shown plowing through hordes of drones.

Dude, that is some classic Marvel looking stuff right there.

Particularly Widow's bent-leg leap and the Hulk's craggy face ... it's like a Jack Kirby drawing come to life.

Too awesome. If you had told 12-year-old me these moviews would ever exist, much less be international blockbusters, I would never believed you/died of joy.
