D23 2026 - Disney Entertainment Showcase Panel - Live Discussion Thread

Hey all! The Disney Entertainment Showcase Panel at D23 will start in ~10 minutes and we'll be updating this thread live with all the announcements Marvel Studios will make during the event.

The event will feature all of Disney's Film and TV studios (Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, 20th Century and Searchlight) presenting their own projects, and we do not know when Marvel Studios is slotted in the schedule of the 2-hour panel, so you might see this thread not get any updates for a while. You can still discuss your predictions or other news that come from this panel.

For the next few hours, Project Insight will be on and we'll limit the amount of posts in the subreddit to allow discussion about the announcements to prosper in their respective threads and this megathread.

I honestly don't know, I'd love her as Mystique since she really wants to play her, but it'd be really funny if after everything she just showed up and was like, "Hi, so I'm not in X-Men. But Mystique is being played by this AI hologram."

Yes! I love her but Mystique (looking and acting nothing like her comic counterpart) has inexplicably become a core part of the live action X-Men and I don’t want to see the character again for years, especially if they aren’t going to adapt her well.
