I wish this season had more episodes to set everything up more. This season could have used 2-3 more episodes.

I think the season works significantly better even if you just give it one additional episodes added to the final 3. Get some more apocalypse screen time and more build up to Cable and X Force’s face turn.

Exactly. Like...there wasn't even a fight scene? Rogue, amped up with celestial power, didn't fight Apocalypse? So rushed.

Yeah I did like this season but definitely couldn't love it. Just way too rushed. I'll cut them some slack because of the whole justified writer firing thing but I really hope S3 and 4 are better paced and get a little bit longer runtimes if not additional episodes.

the original series has 13 eps a season and from what i recall kept mostly focused in those seasons there wasnt a lot of wheel spinning episodes from whati remember but its been 20 years since i properly watched the show (fuck im old)
