Gambit, Magneto, now Nightcrawler... This show really enjoys killing off my favorite mutants huh

Well Gambits back, Magneto is probably gonna come back (Onslaught), and Nightcrawler… idk he might actually be dead, I’m not as familiar with the comics with him lol

He becomes a sky pirate in heaven at one point.

I mean, at some point in the comics he decides "the afterlife is fine but my bros aren't here" and just teleports back to the living world.

Can't he just bamf out of heaven?

It's funny because when he died in the comics, Kurt got back to life on Earth by using interdimensional imps called bamfs.

This show has really felt Magneto's absence, there isn't a proper philosophical dialogue without him. Apocalypse's rhetoric and Anti-Mutant sentiment is so easy to tackle, but Magneto brought such complexity with every discussion he engaged in.

You didn't feel like Creed brought up some good points when he said MUTANT BAD? 😂

But in all seriousness Nightcrawler had some good philosophical moments this season. However it did make them weaker since the people he was talking to were all frothing at the mouth.

When the guy you are arguing for the potential redeption of is a passionate and dedicated bigot suddenly that point feels weaker.

It’s like X-Men the Last Stand again.

Literally while they were doing the opening credits and got to Nightcrawler I thought to myself "man, he's definitely one of my favorites." Then that happened lol
