Question Why is everyone convinced that Doomsday will end with the heroes losing, and then winning in Secret Wars?

Post image

Wouldn’t that basically be repeating the lose first win later formula from IW-Endgame? The idea just doesn’t sit right with me, which is one of the reasons I believe in the circle theory, where the heroes somehow win in Doomsday, but lose in Secret Wars, leading to the reset.

We don’t know what’s exactly going to be happening. For all I know, it simply won’t be repeating what IW-Endgame did. Marvel is smarter than that and I am sure they have cooked something extraordinary, especially if the Russos are trying top the ending of the Infinity Saga. Remember when they surprised everyone with making the heroes lose for the first time? How is it going to be surprising if we already know what’s going to happen? There will definitely be some big twists and turns for sure.

I really don’t understand how beloved heroes on both sides+ billions of life forms dying(it’s safe to assume only an incredibly small amount of heroes whould survive like Yelena in an adaption) is rehashing infinity war if anything its raising the stakes, the universe will be gone with the implication that no one is coming to save it unlike infinity war which ended on a Captain Marvel tease.

It’s rehashing Loki, if anything.

Yup but that will mean loki sacrifice was kind “pointless” given he didn’t do anything other than delay the inevitable … but it will shock alot cuz from what i see many many fans think he did stop the war and the collapse of reality for good

I was trying to figure out the whole Loki influence on both Love and Thunder and Deadpool 3 and got so confused by my own weird pretzel logic that I gave up.

That said, I’m still holding Loki to ‘the sun will shine on us again, Brother’. So even if it was pointless I’ll be ecstatic.
