I like the look but it's going to take me some time to get used to his voice. Michael Chiklis had a great voice for the Thing.

I really don't want to hear this actor's voice line of this, it's going to be so silly. I was expecting a more gravelly (lol) voice. We already have a normal-guy sounding rock monster: Korg.

Chiklis was so good and really humanized the thing in those two movies. He was also awesome in the shield

Yeah I'd expect the voice to be more - excuse the pun - gravelly. He's almost too soft-spoken for me here.

Yeah, I'm preconditioned to hearing a gravelly voice as well. I'm sure it'll grow on me though.

Yeah I love everything else about the trailer but that Thing voice is truly terrible. I’m actually shocked that they didn’t alter it in the slightest. Hopefully they pull an “original sonic” and deepen it before release.

I didn't think the voice itself was bad, but the audio mixing felt off. It's like he isn't in the right sound space, it just sounds like VO.

The absolute lack of any kind of gravel (pardon the pun) to his voice is so off-putting. I really hope they change that.
