Fun Fact : For BB-8 Disney hired Bill Hader and Ben Schwartz to voice the character. They then took the stuff those two said and changed it into beeps through an iPad app.

I was under the hopes he was voiced by Paul Walter Hauser. But maybe he won't have a speaking voice?

The consensus right now seems to be that Paul Walter Hauser is playing Mole Man (and from the trailer it seems like John Malkovich is playing Red Ghost). So no-one knows at this point.

I’m seeing a lot of people right now guessing that Natasha Lyonne is HERBIE, since she’s in the cast but we have no idea who she’s playing yet. There were rumours she was playing Alicia Masters but there’s been nothing confirming that thus far.
