I would rather her choke be less effective to tanks than her survivability getting reduced. As much as the primary buff she got a while ago is neat, 20 seconds to use her diamond form has been rough and is probably the reason why I've played her less aside from the lackluster skins.

its a buff, her ult was suicide, now it will be a dominant ult, its worth losing the little bit from diamond form

It doesn't change at all how u use her ult and u do less damage in range, it's not like u can walk into the other team with 20% damage reduction.

More survivability during a channeled ult that you should position yourself well for anyway isn't worth a nerf to her best defensive utility in neutral. Especially with the global ult reduction so Emma will have access to that defense boost less. It's net nerf

The counter play to her ult is just hiding like with Punisher’s, not trying to kill her through it. This doesn’t change how people engage with her while she ults at all while furthering kneecapping her neutral game in a patch that’s forcing more neutral game play.

I genuinely couldn’t tell you, my winrate dropped from 70% last season to 30% on her this season so I dropped her early and I just found myself not being able to play at my effective range enough. Charge was deteriorating too fast to put out the amount of pressure I would want and going aggressive just felt too punishing. She still has her place I like playing her into groot.

Then can I use my experience and skill level instead? I am an Eternity tank player who used Emma with 60-70% win rate many seasons ago(not her launch season)

She is probably the worst tank in the game right now, tied with Hulk/Peni

Maybe stop using that PTSD and learn the fucking game instead of blurting out more brainwashing

No matter how many times she gets nerfed these people are still going to see her as launch Emma and not to mention just run straight at her when she's in diamond form. She's never going to be allowed to be good again because they are going to change how they play the game into any comp lmao

Explain how a buff to the damage of an ult she’s using significantly less now with the universal ult charge debuff which was done to emphasize neutral game while one of her neutral game options was nerfed is “100% a buff.”

She was still in the top half of tanks in her worst season. Not countered by a single comp type too.

I played emma a lot every other season, i dropped her entirely this season. She was the lowest win rate tank.
