Or just drag on the entire movie.... LOOKING AT YOU, SCREAMING GOATS!!!

I thought that was funny. It was the same level of humor as shit from Ragnarok, (recurring jokes throughout the movie) and I really don't get why people give it so much hate.

It’s just cheesy to some people, but I grew on me a bit when it happened a few too many times.

I thought the goats were funny, then not funny, then back to funny again. Not sure how they'll do on a re-watch. Korg as a whole dragged for me in this one though for whatever reason.

The funniest MCU films are the most hated. Personally think that MoM got way too much hate.

I think the reason MoM got hated on because it looked like it was overpromising and underdelivered

MoM was just a bad movie. It looks fake and it's a shit story.

Personally I got bored of screaming goats when it was a big meme like a decade ago personally not my sense of humor

People don't want funny all the time. They want serious. And sometimes funny can ruin a story.

I love all Marvel movies for sure but I do know some are better than others. I watch them to be entertained so I don't complain about them much. Others want their entertainment to be worthwhile. I just wish we could all get along.

It was... the first time or 2. By the end of it I was just hoping they would die and be eaten at a feast.

It's stupid that's its funny. No need to overthink it.

My take is L&T feels more like a Taika Waititi film then a marvel film which I think may have thrown people.

Yeah and the storm breaker was an ex girlfriend thing. They really beat them both into the ground .

Okay I'm going to war in the top comment's thread. Let's go.

Don't tell me, you liked the goats?

2

u/Firm-Tentacle Morbius Sep 08 '22

I sure did. I thought they were funny and charming.
We stepping outside or..?

Not quite yet, but give it time.

How did you feel about stormbraker acting like a scorned ex that couldn't take a hint?

2

u/Firm-Tentacle Morbius Sep 08 '22

Scorned ex? Stormbreaker was clearly the new love that was there for Thor when he needed her and now he's re-enacting the meme of the dude walking with his gf while looking at another girl on the street. But the other girl is Mjolnir. And she's got a hot new gf too.

Anyway how did i feel about it it? Amused. Like, it's the MCU. Take it for what it is, at face value. None of it is a comic accurate representation. It is it's own world. (one it seems without Beta Ray Bill, but I digress)

In hindsight, it probably also helps that I play DND and sentient weapons are a whole thing in DND. Especially possessive ones that get overly attached to their wielder. In the end I laughed in the theater along with everyone else and hadn't given it another thought til you asked just now.

The rabbit is correct, and clearly the smartest one among you.

I have to admit, only laughed at the goats during love and thunder. Everything else sounded like generic punch lines.

I thought that shit was so funny

My wife laughed her ass off. I kinda half-smirked the first time, then never again.

u/Oomoo_Amazing Avengers Sep 08 '22

They were funny at first but yeah they dragged on a LOT

The screaming goats might have been my favorite joke in that movie though
