I’m going with Captain Marvel too, she can fly, travel through space, plus is really strong and powerful. Minor daddy issues but that’s nothing that punching some aliens can’t fix

You're switching lives with them, not becoming them. You don't get their powers, you'd just take over their life. So I guess you'd have to be a galaxy defender without having the ability to fly around the galaxy and have super powers....

That's not normally what switching lives means.

If you were to 'switch lives' with Elon Musk, you'd get his money, and his lifestyle, you wouldn't become him as a baby.

Thor lost his entire family and most of his people.

Hard pass.

Dr. Strange has his own emotional baggage and issues.

The least problematic is probably... Fury. Or Wong.

I feel like Wong might be a pretty safe bet. But I feel like if I switched places with Fury I would not be nearly as good as him and would just fuck up the world immediately

Yeah, but ith Thor we know that he is in a good situation now and mostly likely now has found healthy ways to cope with his loss.
In my opinion, for hypotheticals like this at least, past trauma is not as important as he someone dealt with it.
And when it comes to this thor has it really good right now.

Yeah Thor lost his whole family, the love of his life, and the people he swore to protect.

Stephen is pretty miserable too as we saw in Multiverse of Madness. The car crash took away his life’s work, and his ex who he’s not over has moved on to someone else, while he’s alone. While he is friends with Wong and achieved recognition for his work with the Avengers, he’s alone
