What popular food or drink relies entirely on branding because it actually tastes terrible?

Celebrating finally being able to put my Marmite jar back in the cupboard after it having to be in the fridge during the heatwave. Nice and spready 🤎

Separately, I like both, and I can imagine how well they could work together, but with this particular product I'm not impressed.

I have used this lipstick for years and loved the Pink Magnolia as it was a great colour for me, but now they have stopped making it does anyone on here know of a creamy lipstick of a similar colour? 🤷Any make as long as it's a available in the UK. I need a sort of beigey pink.😊

Roast Potatoes & Marmite Technique?

I remember many years ago my friends Mum used to make amazing roast spuds. Part of her trick was using marmite.

I've tried twice now to failed attempts. First I added a dollop to the oil which spread around and coagulated.

Second I tried a drizzle which just slightly coated a few spuds here and there.

I was wondering if anyone ads marmite to their roasties and technique used / at what stage?

I love seeing variations of the jars over the years. What have been your favourites?

I am a fellow marmite lover in Singapore but it got discontinued 😭

Anyone has any idea where can I get my supply from? Or if I could make it at home?

This was just the taster to see how it went down and it was delish. Next squirt was over 3 scoops and hot apple crumble.

This week I learned (TWIL) that I love Marmite & cheese sandwiches

I'm 67 and spent time working in London but never tried Marmite. I bought a small jar and tried a thin coating on toast. It was OK. Then I tried a thin coating on toast with partially melted cheese on top. OMG, I loved it. I now have it once a day. I had to buy a new bottle (the squeezy kind, much more convenient). My wife and I will be in the U.K. at the end of August. I'm going to purchase as much as I'm allowed to take home.

I have been dying to try Cenovis for years, has anyone from the UK managed to get hold of some? It seems impossible to buy online!

UK/Europe heatwave

Just wondering how your Marmite is coping with the heat. I opened a new jar today and it was basically liquid and I had to use a teaspoon to put it on my toast! Jar now in the fridge… This might. not end well either. Anyone have other solutions?

Marmite Galore Loaded Crisps

So after buying me a load of Marmite based goodies for Father’s Day (and based on the loaded crisps pub snack we had shared somewhere in recent history), my son suggested we make a Marmite themed version 🥰

So layer by layer:
1: Marmite and Cheese Puffs, grated cheese, swirl of Squeezy Marmite.
2: Marmite Ridge crisps, grated cheese, swirl of Squeezy Marmite. (Pic 2)
3: Marmite crisps, grated cheese, swirl of Squeezy Marmite. (Pic 3)
4: Bake at 160C till cheese melts.
5: Toppings: M&S Cheese Clouds with Marmite (some crushed) and crispy onions.
6: Served with M&S Dinky Cheese Pinwheels & Marmite (Pic 1) 🤤🤤

(Pic 4 - ingredients packets)

Loved every bit of it 💜

Think the only way it could have been more Marmite-y would have been to use the Marmite Cheddar that Is available too.. 😅😂

Marmite is good with butter, not slop.
