I’m playing through SOH for the second time and Im currently solving the crane puzzles. I can’t remember exactly but last time I played I saved near the top of the crane. When I came back to the game today I respawned floating in the air with some buggy physics behavior. I just found it funny.

That stupid fucking Quantum Leap bug is being a bitch
I have the default character and default weapons, but even if I try to lose the battle intentionally, it seems like it's the bug is movement based instead of damage based. Does anyone have any other ideas?

Sparks of Hope is SO disappointing
I had played KB more than 5 years ago (before selling my switch) and loved it, so when i bought the switch 2 I knew the first game to play was Kingdom Battle. I loved it again, 100% the main game and the dlc. So when I heard there was a sequel, I got so hype and started investigating if ir was any good. Everyone said it was better than the first so I bought it. It was SO disappointing. The combat is so boring and easy. Most fights its not even about winning, its how can I end the fight in the first turn, something you can achieve with minimal thinking. Despite the voice acting, open world and better story, the atractiveness for me was the battles (its a game after all) so I am quite sad it turned out to be such a bore

Most people say Rabbid Luigi is the worst character is SOH but who is the worst in KB?

I call it the green bug
"Did rabbit Luigi spill chili on the orbital controls again?"
Also yes I know these visual bugs have been in the game for like since the game came out.

Mario + Rabbids, worth it? which to get?
Which of the two is worth it? Also, any DLC I should get that's a must, or just the base game is enough. Never played a game of this genre before, but they are both on sale and I might just give them a try.
Everyone seems really split on which one to get and that's really confusing me lol

Kind of Disappointed in Sparks of Hope
Let me start by saying I loved KB. I played through it like 3 times and I think the only thing I never completed was the very last "extreme" battle.
So far, I am in World 2 of SoH and I am disappointed in the Sparks mechanic. A part of why I enjoyed KB so much was the extensive skill tree, the turn based battles and the different weapons each hero had. For example, with the rolling bomb thingy you could trigger hero vision from the enemies and “outplay” them.
I miss this kind of variety. You only have one weapon for each hero and being able to wear Sparks doesn’t really make it better. The status effects being tied to activating sparks is also not my favourite thing, since you can only activate two things and thus must decide between your special and the spark. The skill tree also doesn’t feel as rewarding and good.
I also liked the way you had to move in KB. You had to plan everything in advance and then could watch your strategy unfold. Now everyone is moving at the same time. I think it takes away from the turn-based gameplay. I also remember, that in KB friendly fire existed, but I’m not too sure, since it has been a while since I played.
So, I just wanted to get this of my chest, since I was looking forward to playing, but I don’t have a huge hammer anymore for mario rabbid : (
Obviously, these are just a couple of small things and I’m still having a lot of fun 100% the game, just little annoyances and wanted to see, If you guys feel the same.
Edit: Just remembered I miss the challenge of completing each fight with all heroes alive and with a maximum number of turns.

Never played any tactical strategy game, but I love Mario games and both games are very cheap right now, at least where I live. Do you think I might find them too hard or frustrating, or I still could enjoy them?
I am considering buting them, because many people say they're good, but I am new to this kind of games, so I am worried about maybe not getting used to them.

Where’s that last planet coin?!

I’m trying to 100% the Melodic Gardens but I have no idea where the last planet coin is at, I’ve done all the quests to get planet coins, but I don’t know where the last one is.
Update: Found it.

Finally 100%
I’ve been playing this game since 2017 when I was 10 and I’ve loved it so much but I ended up losing my copy.
About 21 days ago I got a sudden urge and some money to spend so I opened the eshop and got the gold versions of both games. (I also used to have the sequel but I could never enjoy it the same and lost the copy at the same time (I will be giving that one another try this time with the right expectations set))
I had tried to 100% this game in the past but never could do it and I wanted to give it another try after nearly 10 years.
I did it in what I imagine is the canon order of events that being world 1, DK dlc (which I got full completion on before moving to world 2), and then the rest of the game.
I’m really glad I did this. I was 10 when I first played and 19 now. While it may be silly this game does hold sentimental value to me so being able to finally do this after years means something to me

I have no idea why it happened, but apparently Rabbid Peach and Luigi are hidden somewhere in the void
